Tucson, Week 2:
(I admit it...I've underestimated this place...)
Reasons to like Tucson:
1. Not as hot as Phoenix.
2. Wild Oats market down the street.
3. Mara not so far away!
4. People here more relaxed.
5. Not as hot as Phoenix.
6. Great sunsets.
7. BJ's friend Wayne's soririty girl brain cell joke. (I'll tell you next time I see you...)
8. University has lots of nice/relaxed bars to go to.
9. Nighttime weather is perfect for walking around.
10. Bright color schemes- you can do anything with your house. I have seen pink, purple, and orange houses leading completely normal lives in the middle of residential areas.
11. There is a GAP outlet less than 45 minutes away.
12. There is A GAP OUTLET less than 45 minutes away!
13. The cafes. Especially Bentley's. When you order food, instead of giving you a number to take to your table, they give you a big plastic animal. The other day I got a big lion. Rar!
14. The coffee. O. M. G., you guys. I have not had a single sub-par cup of coffee since I got here. I kid you not. No bitterness. No overwhelming acidity. But, boy howdy, it's not weak either. And with a little milk and your favorite brand of fake sugar...mmmMMMmmm.
and, for the record:

Or maybe I just like it better here because it's not LA...hmmm...I'll have to think about that...
