Ah yes, the last day of classes. Relief pervades the world. A few hours of relaxation. A time to lay down, take a nap....only to burst awake after a fitful 5 minutes of sleep and realize "HOLY GOD! Why am I SLEEPING?!?! I have FINALS in little more than a few days!!! What was I THINKING?! AAaaarghaarrr..." (Followed by several other piteous noises.) All I need to do is finish Anna Kerenina for my Russian novel class (928 pages...820 completed so far...) Read a few more of Tolstoy's shorter stories (oh, hmm....400 pages?) Review some poetry for my 20th century survey course (Ummm...all of Wallace Stevens...and Sylvia Plath and Ann Sexton. Oh, won't that fill my days with sunshine.) But why am I telling you all of this? You're not going to do the reading for me. Silly Blog. I guess I don't feel too bad about the last course, in fact my fears are enormously alleviated...Today my GSI told our section that she hated taking exams and would be sure to grade ours in a calm, forgiving environment with soft music in the background and a glass of wine. Or a bottle of wine. Luckily, my last name starts with a W, so if she grades them alphabetically she might be good and drunk by the time she gets there. The next time you pray thank the good Jesus for inventing the fermentation cycle. Yay God. Anyway, I have a date with some Russian literature...

Oh yes, and for those of you who know my young Korean friend...please be sure to call him Geenie Weenie for the remainder of your aquiantance with him. For me, guys, for me.
