It strikes me that a curiosly large proportion of my blog is now devoted to siblings. (But before it was papers...not sure if this is a step up...or merely a testament to some sort of tendancy toward monomania...) It also strikes me that perhaps these little episodes are not as cute/funny/meaningful to everyopne else as they are to me.

Hmm.


But then again, this blog is really not just for you anymore, is it?

Angela: Katherine, where do peanuts come from?
Me: [pause] Other peanuts.
Angela: [longer pause] Then where did the first peanut come from?
Me: [pause] GOD.
Angela: [looks at Me, incredulously and with a hint of resentment, as if displeased that I do, in fact, know the answer but will not tell her out of spite.]



Next time, all questions will be answered with "Go ask Mom." or "Go ask Dad." depending on which parent is farther away.
