I feel kind of bad because I missed my blog's birthday. It was 7 years old as of yesterday.
In celebration (I guess) of the event, I went back and read a few of the very first entries. It was interesting...but not for the reasons I thought it would be. In some critical respects, not too much has changed: Same job (student.) Same worries. Same boyfriend. Same family. Mostly the same friends (thank god.)
But it's also terrifyingly clear that something essential has changed...and though 19-year-old Kat wasn't perfect (her style was a little over-eager, perhaps,) I still miss her a little.

I miss the 26 year old Kat and glad I'm going to see her tonight! I'm glad we have these blogs to help us remember our silly college days and our 19 year-old selves though ;)
