I can't start this post in any other way than to acknowledge how awful it is that I'm doing this right now. But it's my very last resort in the world, because there's nothing I can do but sit here. I already made all the phone calls and checked my e-mail and talked to my brother and tried to watch tv. and I checked to see if anyone was online, but no one is because its christmas eve. and I already called bj, but my granparents and aunts and uncles and everything are at mass, and nobody else can do a damned thing to help. but I still need to do something because if I just sit here, then things are going to get really bad. about two hours ago my mom was driving with andrew and angela over to my aunt's house and she got into a head on collision with a drunk driver. and everyone is still alive, except my little sister's head apparently is a little beaten up and both of my mom's ankles and feet are broken. that FUCKER broke my MOM'S FEET. she called me from the ambulance to let me know she was okay, and that she'd probably only need some tylenol and she'd be fine. oh my GOD. and I can't do anything but sit here because I got "hold down the fort" duty. my dad and sister call from the hospital every once in a while, but that's all I've got. and I'm just supposed to fucking sit here. my dad says that lizzie and i are still flying back to california tomorrow, so I packed my bag, and I packed lots of lizzie's stuff for her. and I got together everyone's overnight bags in case I have to take a cab over to some hospital in pennsylvania later. but oh my god now there's nothing left to do. I'm just sitting here in my sweatshirt and my sneakers because there aren't any cars left and if I have to I will RUN TO THE NEAREST PERSON WHO CAN DRIVE ME ANYWHERE. alright...but this is ridiculous...I'm going to go hang out with my brother some more I guess...maybe we'll play some video games. and nothing about this night is bad. the state trooper said that none of them should be here any longer. everything is fine. nothing important is broken.

Awwww Kat! How scary. I'm glad everyone is okay! Take it easy and give me a call when you get a chance. Merry Christmas!
